During this 12 day tour around Ireland highlights include sampling local craft beer in Drogheda, enjoying a horse-drawn jaunting car ride and staying one night in a castle! Plenty of time to mingle with the locals enjoying traditional Irish evenings with local whiskeys and perhaps a glass or two of Guinness!


Kylemore Abbey

A 19th Century mansion with an exquisite chapel + reception rooms, it is the oldest of the Irish Benedictine Abbeys.

Cliffs of Moher

Step onto the edge of the world + look out over the rugged cliffs facing the ocean + admire Ireland’s most spectacular natural wonder at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Galway

Explore the streets of this ancient harbour city with its stone clad buildings that line winding lanes then settle in to one of the cosy pubs for the evening + enjoy traditional Irish music.

Itinerary

day 1-2

Dublin

Tour begins at 2pm with visit to Kilmainham Gaol. The next day tour stately Russborough House to view priceless treasures. Afternoon free to use vouchers to visit a featured attraction.
day 3

Dublin to Cork

Experience country living at a traditional farmhouse. At the House of Waterford watch experienced craftspeople create crystal masterpieces.
day 4

Cork to Killarney

Visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence”. Stop at Moll’s Gap for great views of the Ring of Kerry and enjoy a sheep herding demonstration.
day 5

Killarney

Enjoy a horse-drawn jaunting car ride. Discover the scenic Dingle Peninsula and enjoy dinner in the charming town of Dingle.
day 6

Killarney to Galway

Sample tea and scones in Listowel before a ferry ride across River Shannon Estuary. Visit the famous Cliffs of Moher. In Galway, join a local guide for a walking tour.
day 7

Galway

Enjoy a guided tour of Cong where “The Quiet Man” movie was made. Tour the elegant Kylemore Abbey. Enjoy lunch before returning to Galway.

Galway to Derry

Visit Ballintubber Abbey, Ireland’s only royal abbey. At Belleek Pottery see craftspeople create delicate pieces. Spend time in Donegal before continuing to Derry.

Derry

Explore the Giant’s Causeway and a guided walk of Derry. Dine at the Walled City Brewery Restaurant.
day 10

Derry to Kingscourt

Immerse yourself in history at Titanic Belfast. Travel to your castle hotel.
day 11

Kingscourt to Dublin

Visit the Boyne Valley Visitor Centre to learn about the 5,000 year old burial tombs of Newgrange and Knowth. Sample local craft beer at Clarke’s Bar in Drogheda. Farewell dinner at a gastropub.
