Set out on an interpretive guided expedition to view one of the largest concentration of polar bears in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area.

Dog sledding played an important part in the history and culture of Northern Canada and there is no better place to experience the sled dogs and mushers of Churchill Manitoba.

Itinerary

day 1

Winnipeg

Arrive and make you own way to your hotel. You will be introduced to your Interpretive Guide and they will discuss tour departure information.
day 2

Winnipeg to Churchill

An early morning flight to Churchill. Enjoy a Churchill town and area tour, a guided bus tour of local and historical points of interest surrounding Churchill, including such attractions as Cape Merry, Port of Churchill and Manitoba Conservation's Polar Bear Holding Facility. Visit the Churchill Eskimo Museum and evening cultural presentation by a local.
day 3-4

Churchill

Each morning, transfer to the Tundra Buggy Launch site and board an authentic Tundra Buggy. Set out on an exciting interpretive guided expedition to view polar bears and other arctic wildlife. The best way to experience an intimate encounter with a wild polar bear is on an authentic Tundra Buggy. In the later afternoon, the Buggies will return to launch and you will be transferred back to Churchill in time for dinner.
day 5

Churchill to Winnipeg

Visit the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre for an informative look at the historical and natural significance of Churchill. Also enjoy a dog sled program and a dog sled ride through the forest. Depart on an evening flight to Winnipeg.

Your tour ends upon check-out of your hotel.
