Kruger National Park

The largest game reserve in South Africa and a destination in itself offering you an incredible experience as you try to tick off seeing the Big Five!

Swaziland

It may be small but packs a punch with its local artisans providing lots of colourful culture – don’t hesitate to buy that special curio as you won’t regret it once you‘re home.

Knysna

The most famous town along the Garden Route, surrounded by ancient forests on a turquoise coloured lagoon, that was once the centre of the timber industry and where you can still find shops specialising in beautiful wooden artifacts.

day 1

Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg, transfer to hotel and remainder of day at leisure.
day 2

Johannesburg to Mpumalanga

After breakfast travel to Pretoria, South Africa's capital, for a short orientation tour before continuing to the Mpumalanga Province. Dropping into the lush subtropical region of the Lowveld, travel to Hazyview, the safari hub of Kruger National Park.
day 3

Mpumalanga

Drive along the spectacular Panorama Route offering amazing scenery including the 26km Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and historic God's Window. Afternoon at leisure or join an afternoon game experience (optional).
day 4

Mpumalanga

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Kruger National Park with a packed breakfast. Search for the Big Five as well as prolific birdlife and numerous other game. Afternoon at leisure.
day 5

Mpumalanga to Swaziland

Travel to Swaziland for an interactive cultural experience introducing you to the charming people of Swaziland and their traditions. Travel to the beautiful Ezulwini Valley for a true African shopping experience.
day 6

Swaziland to Zululand

After breakfast, we continue south travelling to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. Enjoy an open safari in the afternoon.
day 7

Zululand to Durban

This morning we join a cruise on Lake St Lucia before departing for Durban. Travel past traditional Zulu Kraals, Eucalyptus plantations and sugar cane fields. Remainder of day at leisure.
day 8

Durban to Knysna

Transfer to Durban Airport for flight to Port Elizabeth where we set off to visit the spectacularly beautiful Tsitsikamma NP and Storms River Mouth.
day 9

Knysna

Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve and take a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head to enjoy panoramic views of the town and lagoon, returning for lunch under the milkwood trees. Afternoon at leisure.
day 10

Knysna to Oudtshoorn

Travel through the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn, known as the "ostrich capital" and centre of the world's Ostrich farming industry. Then take a tour of the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves.
day 11

Oudtshoorn to Cape Town

An option to enjoy an early morning Meerkat Safari. After breakfast journey through the "Little Karoo" to Barrydale to visit a local farm school (subject to school being open). Continue to Franschhoek, a picturesque village surrounded by magnificent vineyards. Transfer to Cape Town.

Full day of leisure. Authentic dinner and show.

Cape Town

Enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula, offering some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the world.

Transfer to airport, harbour or railway station for your onward journey.
