The Majesty of the American West
The historic western town of Jackson, Wyoming and its surrounding mountain ranges and abundance of outdoor activities sets the bar on expectations perfectly for what lies ahead along this stunning trip. With two days to explore here, hiking around winding valleys, rafting the rapids and taking a hot air balloon ride, there is no shortage of ways to find the scenery’s best angle.
The next day head to the Grand Teton National Park to the Togwogtee Lodge, perfectly located for you to explore the lush, grassy country with its historic wooden farmhouses at the base of the giant Grand Teton Mountain. With two days to unwind take the 67km scenic Loop Drive and venture into some of the 300km of alpine trails. Death Canyon, despite its name, is an easy hike with glorious scenery.

Mother Nature doesn’t disappoint again as you drive into the dramatic canyons, alpine rivers and lush forests of the Yellowstone National Park. Home to buffalo, coyotes, elk and the famous grizzly, hundreds more varieties of wildlife inhabit its untouched reaches.
Pull into the town of Cody, the legacy of builder and legendary Old West showman Buffalo Bill Cody where your choice to be entertained could be participating in a live shootout, taking a Red Canyon Wild Mustang Tour, while the Old Town Trail offers something a little slower.
Alpine Plateaus + Montana Gold
Known as one of the most scenic drives in America, drive the Beartooth Highway taking in its breathtaking mountain views and high open alpine plateaus which rank as some of the best views in the country. The drive leads to the quaint town of Red Lodge Montana at the base of Beartooth Mountain.
The following day head to the college town of Bozeman with its museums, shops and art galleries on its Main Street waiting to be explored and with a lively fun atmosphere, thanks to its young population.
Continue motoring to Montana’s capital, Helena, created a century and a half ago during the gold-rush and showcases superb Victorian architecture found in the St Helena Cathedral and the State Capitol.
