Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge, Kruger National Park
Promising a luxury safari experience, the lodge is deep in the bushveld and overlooks a waterhole and open plains. Expansive decks provide the perfect place to watch star-studded African skies at night and see the abundance of wild African species quench their thirst. This is the land of the Big Five and on morning and afternoon game drives you will traverse the terrain in search of them. Dinner is a gourmet affair and a fire-lit boma is the platform for sharing + reminiscing about the day’s adventures.
A Luxury Home in the Bush
On arrival at Bush Lodge, you immediately feel as if you have arrived at a “luxury home in the bush” with a decor that integrates artefacts collected from travelling adventures. Each of the luxury 25 suites is air-conditioned with huge en suite glass fronted bathrooms and al fresco showers.
Facilities include two swimming pools and an enormous covered viewing deck that overlooks a waterhole where wildlife often come to drink. Great for families, children of all ages are welcomed at the EleFun Centre which offers environmentally themed activities in a supervised and safe setting.
2 nights accommodation, conservation fee, all meals, tea + coffee, return transfers from Sabi Sabi Airstrip + scheduled game drives in open 4WD vehicles + walking safaris, WiFi.
Africa is all about contradictions. You’ll find small group tours that have you stepping out of your comfort zone and luxury independent itineraries that allow you to indulge in comfort.
Take a short break in a luxury lodge at Kruger National Game Reserve or a long self-drive through the Garden Route + Winelands around Cape Town. Of course, no Africa brochure would be complete without safari packages – see some of the world’s greatest wildlife from Uganda to Botswana.
