Hiking the Burren Way
You will be rewarded with panoramic coastal vistas along the iconic Cliffs of Moher – and the Burren will open up along your journey with its unique landscape, and hundreds of acres of exposed limestone bedrock, interlaced with pockets of eco-systems supporting a diverse range of plant life.

Golden Sands Leading to Coastal Cliffs
Starting in the town of Lahinch nestled at the head of Liscannor Bay, travel along the coast to the southern end of the world – the Cliffs of Moher. Stretching along the coast for over 8km and towering 214m above the Atlantic ocean is a photographer’s dream Explore O’Brians Castle and then follow Cliff paths to the small village of doolin known for its Craic agus Ceol – that is Irish for fun and music!
Gaeltacht Signposts + Coastal Views
The next days are spent walking predominantly on boreens (Irish for rural roads) through quiet farm lands with forever views of the Atlantic Coast looking out to the Aran Islands. Staying in seaside villages, and following signposts that may be in Irish, there is spectacular views of Galway Bay trekking on the Burren Way that joins an old path leading through the Gleninagh Valley.
Forest Trails, Quaint Villages + Final Day
There are regular bus services from Corofin to Ennis and from there to Dublin, Limerick and Shannon Airport (not included). Or ask about extending your stay in Galway.
All accommodation along the hiking route is conveniently located in the centre of villages or towns (subject to availability. Upgrade options are also available in larger towns and cities. Breakfast is included. Itineraries can be made to suite your fitness, time available and budget. Practical and useful holiday packs are provided for: walking guide and or notes and maps. A 24/7 support number is given in case of emergency. Luggage transfers are included as standard as part of the hiking package which means your luggage will be moved each day to the next hotel on your itinerary. Excludes meals other than breakfast, airport transfers, drinks, insurance (recommended) and flights.
