Discover Belgium

Glorious golden squares, dark and dreamy chocolate, and amber bright beer – Belgium is a place of sheer indulgence. The pint-sized country is stacked to the hilt with breweries, bakers, historic battlefields, and a rare Rubens like beauty.

Let’s Venture

Brussels may take centre stage with its evocative Grand Palace and plethora of 19th century splendour, however Bruges, known as the Venice of the North, is the show stealer with her horse and carriage squares, glittering canals and gourmet restaurant scene.

Hit the best shops and sights staying at the historical Bruges Hotel Navarra – Napoleon was due to stay here in 1802 – look for the N in the stairwell window of the spiral staircase.  Or if a former 15thcentury ducal residence is more your style, the Hotel Dukes’Palace Bruges is in its own quiet enclave and a special place to experience the city.

Grab a bike and pedal north of Bruges along quiet poplar lined canals that thread its way through a rural polder landscape to the coast and enjoy a café or three, a long sandy beach and attractive dune landscape of Het Zwin, a unique nature reserve.
